3rd Sorrowful Mystery – The Crowning of Thorns

They stripped off his clothes and wrapped him in a scarlet cloak. Weaving a crown out of thorns, they fixed it on his head and began to mock him. ~ ~ Matt. 27, 28-29

Our Father …

Mark 15:16-17 – And the soldiers led him away into the court of the palace: and they called together the whole band. And they clothed him with purple: and, platting a crown of thorns, they put it upon him.

Matt 27:28 – And stripping him, they put a scarlet cloak about him.

Matt 27:29 – And platting a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand.
